The purpose or purposes of the Neligh Area Community Foundation are as follows,

  1. To recieve , administer and disburse funds for the charitable or educational or community purpose as well, in discretion of the Board of Directors, make for the mental, moral and intellectual and physical improvement , assistance and relief primarily of the inhabitants of the Neligh area and of Antelope County, Nebraska.
  2. To assist charitable institutions, including educational institutions not operated for profit, whether supported by private donation or public taxation.
  3. To promote scientific research along the lines of the alleviation of human suffering.
  4. For the care of the sick , aged , helpless and children.
  5. For the improvement of living and working conditions.
  6. For providing facilities for recreation.
  7. For the encouragement of sanitation and measures for the prevention of disease.
  8. To encourage and promote the economic and community development of the Neligh area and surrounding county.
